En lo alto de una pequeña montaña que dividiría a un pueblo del resto del mundo, vivía un anciano, sabio y solitario, que tenia por toda compañía, a un perro.
Solía suceder en este pueblo que aquel anciano bajaba de la montaña una vez cada tanto y se instalaba a las orillas de un lago en un pequeño atrio que había sido construido para él.
Sucedía entonces que las personas de este pueblo, se juntaban al pie de aquel atrio y cuando en anciano llegaba le planteaban sus dudas, sus temores, sus conflictos, y el anciano siempre tenia una respuesta que los abarcaba.
Algunos trataban de acercarse a él, y cuando lo hacían, el perro que estaba tirado a sus pies, gruñía fuertemente , siempre sucedía lo mismo.
Cierto día, uno desde aquel lado del lago, le preguntó: ¿Por qué cada vez que nos acercamos a ti tu perro gruñe, es que no puedes aceptar que nosotros estemos junto a ti, es que eres diferente a nosotros, es que este perro está entrenado para ahuyentar a los que queremos tenerte mas cerca?
No, respondió el anciano, ustedes han construido esta tarima, y en ese primer escalón mi perro se echa, cada vez que alguien pisa ese escalón, un pequeño clavo mal puesto sobre sale un poco mas, toca su pata, y el perro gruñe, le duele pobre.
-Pero entonces, si le duele porque no se corre, ¿por qué no cambia de lugar? No, no es así, es que le duele como para que se queje pero no lo suficiente para que salga de ahí.
Este breve pero poderoso cuento nos plantea que, a veces, en la vida hay situaciones que no duelen tanto para que uno decida cambiar de dirección o hacer algo al respecto, quizá se trata de miedo a salir de nuestra zona de confort, o es que nos acostumbramos y normalizamos esas molestias, aguantándolas durante mucho tiempo, minimizando el daño, incluso hasta dejar de percibir ese dolor.
También puede ser que vivamos quejándonos todo el tiempo sin mover un solo dedo para mejorar.
Te has preguntado si en este momento ¿estas acomodado o estas cómodo? ¿Te duele poco y aún así lo soportas? Si la respuesta es afirmativa ¿harás algo al respecto? Atrévete a salir de esa zona, a realizar un cambio, a modificar el mañana, a sentirte seguro, tranquilo y cómodo realmente, no te conformes con menos.
Respira y recuerda lo valioso que eres, y que mereces sentirte bien, engreírte ¿por qué no? La vida pasa rápido, no hay tiempo que perder en sentirnos incómodos.
Así que deja de quejarte, o reconoce cuales son los clavos en tu vida y muévete. Sonríe sin quejas y con acción.
