Cuando decides cambiar de actitud, cuando decides dejar de portarte mal
o seguir el camino de la rectitud, te vendrán muchas pruebas.
Pasarás por muchas situaciones en las que querrás de actuar diferente pero actuarás igual, ahora conoces la teoría, piensas que dejarás atrás tu conducta anterior, pero en la práctica no será así…
Pero no pasa nada, porque es normal… No te preocupes…
Quizás el cambio que esperas tener no será instantáneo, pero no bajes la cabeza, no te sientas derrotado, porque como dice la frase el que la sigue la consigue…
Ante tanta insistencia la vida te dará lo que andabas buscando, lo que estabas pidiendo…
Durante un periodo de remordimiento en el que se sentía abrumado por los sentimientos de autocondena, oyó por casualidad una conversación en la que una voz decía: “¡Toma y Lee!”.
Tomó el primer libro que tenía a mano, lo abrió y leyó: “Andemos honestamente, como de día, no en orgías ni borracheras; no en casas de prostitución ni desenfrenos; no en disputas ni envidias; al contrario, vestíos del Señor Jesucristo y no os cuidéis de la carne para satisfacer sus pasiones”
Ocurre a menudo.
Cuando una persona sufre una grave derrota en una lucha consigo misma, es posible que en aquel momento esté preparada.
Su remordimiento puede ser tan emocional, y sincero que tal vez le induzca a emprender una acción inmediata y, a través de la perseverancia, le permita cambiar y seguir el camino que le conduzca a una victoria total.
Cuando pides de corazón a Dios, el te responde de cualquier manera, Por que para Dios no hay nada imposible…
Cuando uno está realmente preparado y dispuesto, aveces solo hace falta una palabra, un pequeño empujón que te lleve a la acción.
¡Ahora aquel joven estaba preparado!
Y una vez adoptada una decisión irrevocable, alcanzó la paz de espíritu. Creía que la potencia divina le ayudaría a superar los pecados contra los que antes había luchado en vano y adquirió una profunda espiritualidad.
Los resultados de su vida futura lo demostraron. El joven se entregó a Dios y al servicio de sus hermanos.
Por lo que fue y por lo qué llegó a ser es considerado capaz de ejercer una poderosa influencia en la tarea de dar esperanza incluso a los desesperados.
Se llamaba Agustín. Y fue declarado Santo.
Es bien sabido que la fuerza de la biblia ha sido útil para cambiar las actitudes negativas en positivas, incluso de los más negligentes seres humanos.
Y gracias a la eficacia especial de esta palabra escrita, éstos se sintieron inspirados a eliminar las telarañas de su mente. Fueron limpios en sus pensamientos y en sus costumbres.
Muchos, como San Agustín se han sentido impulsados a arrepentirse profundamente y como él han experimentado el deseo de dedicar sus vidas al servicio de Dios y de la humanidad.
Pero no sólo la biblia es una fuente de inspiración para el cambio, también lo son otros libros de desarrollo espiritual.
Reflexión final
De seguro tu también tienes un hijo difícil, que te contesta, que no te hace caso. Corrígelo en todo momento.
Recuerda lo que dice la biblia en Proverbios 22:6
Instruye al niño en su camino,
Y aun cuando fuere viejo no se apartará de él.
Como la madre de San Agustín, no pierdas las fe.
Aunque tu hijo no se comporte como tu quisieras, sigue llevándolo por el camino de la rectitud, sigue orando, declarando que tu hijo lleva una vida ejemplar.
Haz lo que esté en tus manos, ora a Dios, no pidiendo, sino agradeciendo por su cambio.
Tú das tu mejor esfuerzo, como madre, o como padre, pero en algún momento no podrás obligarlo a que actúe como tu quieres, o cómo crees que debería actuar un buen hijo.
Acepta la actitud que tiene tu hijo, no pierdas las fe, pero deja que tu hijo aprenda por su cuenta, la vida le enseñará, lo que contigo no quiso aprender o entender.
Quizás no tengas hijos pero te identificas con la vida de San Agustín. Y con ello no me refiero que hayas vivido una vida desenfrenada.
Sino al hecho de darte cuenta que tú también has decidido cambiar de actitud, porque la actitud que tomabas frente a la vida, a los problemas, no te llevaron a nada bueno, no cosechaste lo que querías sino lo que sembraste.
Y seguro que tú también has decidido cambiar, mucho antes, o quizás al leer este texto.
Pero sí hay algo que debes entender, con esta historia. Es es primer lugar a NO PERDER LA FE.
No pierdas la fe en ti, en que cambiarás a la actitud deseada
Sigue creyendo en Dios, sigue creyendo en tu cambio
En segundo lugar acepta que el cambio no es de la noche a la mañana.
Si tu mente tu comportamiento tu actitud ya ha sido marcada por año, tiene un patrón, tardará en acostumbrarse, pero no dudes que el cambio vendrá.
que cuanto tiempo tomara
El tiempo necesario, el tiempo que te haga falta.
Sin embargo aunque te digan tu nunca cambiaras, no los escuches tu sigue declarando, que TU sí cambiarás.
A acepta que a veces tendrás caídas, volverás a tu misma actitud de antes, pero no será momento de castigarte, no será momento de culparte, será momento de aceptarte, de decirte a ti mismo, que estas dando lo mejor de ti, y que una caída no significa derrota, te levantarás y continuaras, así te caigas mil veces, mil veces te levantarás, te sacudirás el polvo y con una sonrisa continuaras tu camino, mirando hacia delante y ya no atrás.
Poco a poco comprobarás que solo era cuestión de fe, solo era cuestión de constancia, solo era cuestión de una actitud positiva, solo era cuestión de aceptarte, solo era cuestión de paciencia y solo era cuestión de entregarlo a Dios.
