Con el COVID-19 extendiéndose y muchos cambios inesperados en la vida, debes recordar que tanto tú como tu familia, amigos y otras personas están encerrados para evitar que la tormenta del virus empeore, pero muchos encaran esta calamidad.
Esas personas, y no, no se trata de los irresponsables que escapan de casa y aumentan los contagios, sino de médicos, enfermeros, doctores, encargados de limpieza, los vendedores en los mercados, militares, policías, periodistas, etc., todos ellos ponen sus vidas en riesgo por nosotros.
Ellos son las águilas que vuelan más allá de sus limites para eliminar la fuente de la tormenta.
Cada minuto afuera, donde el virus puede encontrarlos, es un minuto más de riesgo.
Cada persona detenida por no respetar la cuarentena o cada cliente que necesita víveres es una probabilidad más de enfermarse.
Cada mala o buena noticia que el público necesita saber es un paso hacia territorio desconocido.
Piensa, por un momento, que estas ansias de libertad que quieres saciar tan desesperadamente vienen con un costo muy grande.
Y aquellos que ven a la tormenta cara a cara lo saben muy bien.
Porque puede que salgan a las calles, pero el virus los acecha día a día cuando cumplen su deber.
El número de infectados, el número de fallecidos, los que superarán el virus y los que lucharán contra el COVID-19 no son simples estadísticas.
Son personas, gente que estas águilas tratan de proteger, y el peso emocional y mental en quienes nos cuidan es enorme.
Y ¿cómo quitarles ese peso de encima?
Sé responsable con tu salud. Aséate, báñate, ten siempre jabón, alcohol, desinfectantes a la mano.
Sé constante con tu higiene personal tanto dentro de casa como cuando tienes que salir a comprar lo necesario.
Ayuda e instruye a los tuyos a ser perseverantes en estos tiempos difíciles.
No solo se trata de aguantar el tiempo que dure la cuarentena, sino de estar bien preparados para nuestro futuro y el de quienes se arriesgan por nosotros.
Y, por último, si tienes tiempo esta noche, si tanto tú como tu familia la tienen, repitan esta oración.
